This is awesome. I'm from Halifax, and these guys are pretty popular here. Not my sound, but they are talented. No one deserves to be treated like this and put through the corporate washing machine.

This is also my first comment on your blog Joe and i gotta say i love it. I met you briefly after your shows in Montreal this year. i asked you who your Glaucoma doctor was! I must say, i wish you put the bit about the Delilah song on your Spike special, that ruined me... mostly cause one of my friends loved that song so much and i shared your mindset about the song. Anyway, i love your blog and i don't care how weird it sounds but, my best friend and i believe that your blog and your outlooks on life has increased our over all well-being. Keep it up, and come back to Canada!

In all honesty, getting all upset with United Airlines, and boycotting them over something like this is a little over reaction. It was probably the action of one of their turd employees who had their lunch money stolen on a daily basis.

I find that most big companies are interested in doing the right thing if the proper person learns about it.

If you want to get upset, get upset with them for not training their employees properly for dealing with customer issues.
