See you have been doing thinking like me but I think it all still comes back to D.M.T and whatever we believe in when we die that is our next plain of existance so if you believe in heaven or hell your prob gonna go to one or the other but if you have a more wide spread thinking pattern your world will be so much more. Thats why human life will never end everything is on a cycle including animals and plants thats why we have seasons when they die they enter another plain where it starts to grow again like we do when we die but we will always have a main purpose in life and thats to try to figure it out. Thats why I believe D.M.T is the key to the death exp. ,but my theory is much bigger then this I cant fit it on here this is just one side of the plain with an infinite number of doors that open to a life to live you never thought about living. and if God does exist hes a pretty fucked up person since we were made in his creation, and also God isnt all powerful because how do you explain evil, either God made evil which is the reason we live in the world we live today and why people are so shitty or evil existed before God which means God DIDNT create us and evil was around before God so who created God? But for me if God did eist when I die I will eat his Gland and trip LOL

[...] I once read something where a guy had an epiphany. He suddenly considered that if he experienced life through another human being, from birth to death, same physiology and life-events, he would BE that person. He would act, look, dress just like them, and completely 100% be them, inside and out. It was a sudden paradigm shift from judgment to compassion. It was Joe Rogan who wrote that on his blog.
This was one of my favorite blog entries, mostly because the epiphany really changed the way I look at life.
What's really interesting to me is how many of you that have had the exact same idea.
Sometimes all it takes is another person seeing something the same way you do to validate your idea and give you inspiration to continue on that path.

We're the same energy coursing through different parts of the same entity.

Like cells in a body working for an organ, we work with each others for larger purposes of our group...

I'm with you in hoping that we see self-awareness evolve for our collective organism as technology brings our thoughts closer together... it will suck a lot to collectively discover that parts of our greater form are in pain, and it will probably be pretty cool to finally relive that pain.

Keep on being an open-minded spiritual role-model Joe. It's really encouraging ;)

maybe a humans personality starts as a blank tile, and each persons energy is exactly the same. think of this energy as light. but each individuals unique social and cultural conditions such as a fathers shouting, watching a certain tv show, how one is treated, puts little holes in the tile
these holes would be a unique combination, corresponding with these certain conditions. for example one person may have developed an ideology about morals or happiness, and this creates an octagonal hole in the tile.
one persons dad tells them to hit back in a fight. this creates a square. so everybodys tile is now different, with different shapes punched through them.
yet the energy, which comes from the same source for everyone, is filtered by these holes, resulting in this pattern on the other side of the tile. maybe 3 squares, 2 circles, and 5 semi circles, and reflects onto the wall behind the tile creating n image of the shapes.
so although the energy, light, is the same for everyone, the social conditions puncture us, creating this different image for every individual: our unique personality

Hi Joe,

Just commenting on this:

"My thought, while I was out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, high as giraffe pussy and trying to talk to dolphins – was that the way to really be happy is to view everyone you meet as you. Be as happy to meet them as you would be meeting another version of yourself living a completely different life."

It reminds me of the Golden Rule:

"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." Matthew 7:12

"And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise." Luke 6:31
