It’s what all the cool kids are doing, apparently.
Dane Cook told me about it when he did my podcast yesterday, so I decided to sign up and check it out. If you didn’t already know, I have a phone number specifically dedicated to fans. It actually became that by accident, because I was tweeting my number to my friend Doug Benson, and I mistakenly made it a public message. I was just going to change my number, but as I was driving to the Verizon store to do so, I started answering calls and spoke to a bunch of really cool people. It was actually fun, so I decided that instead of changing my number I would just get a new personal number and leave the other one on as a fan line, and just answer it and talk to people whenever I had some free time. The only problem was every time I would boot up my phone it would go into a spastic vibration seizure because of a million texts coming in all at once. With SayNow I can turn the feature on whenever I want, and I can send texts out to everyone at once and apparently even send voice messages. Seems pretty fucking cool.
With SayNow you can text me by texting @joerogan and your message to 729669 (which numerically is SAYNOW) and then I’ll get them.
