I’m in London right now, and its 5:30 am, local time.
I wrote a bunch of shit on the plane that I was going to put up earlier, but due to some computer glitch it never got saved.
I just got back from a sold out show at Leicester Square Theatre and some late grub at a local fast food joint. It was a fun fucking night.
I got no sleep on the plane and only a couple hours in my hotel after the UFC weigh in before my comedy show, so I’m wrecked. The show was awesome. London is one of the most fun places to play on the planet. They really appreciate comedy over here, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have developed such a big following of cool people.
I’m really getting geared up to film my Spike TV comedy hour and tonight’s show was invigorating. I’ve got a bunch of material coming together for the filming, and I’m really excited to film it, and then carry this momentum that I’ve got from all these blogs and write a whole new act. I’ve been doing comedy for 20 years now, and I can honestly say that I’m more fascinated by it now, better at it now, and I understand it more now than I ever have before.
It’s very exciting to me. I wrote some new bits on the plane last night and they killed tonight at the show, which was extra stimulating. I really feel like I’m on a great roll right now, and I’m eager to continue to feed this momentum long after the Spike show.
I’ve got a renewed passion for my love affair with stand up comedy, and I’m looking forward to a continued obsession with it.
I’ve got to be up in less than 8 hours to get to the UFC tomorrow, so unfortunately I don’t have any time to fuck around on this blog. I’m gonna bring my camera with me tomorrow and get some stills and video for you guys. Hopefully I can upload it before I get back to LA. I’ll write another small update tomorrow, and then a fat one on the plane ride home.
Tickets went onsale today for the show March 5th in Columbus for the live filming at the Southern Theatre. You can buy them online at ticketmaster here: http://www.ticketmaster.com/venue/41425
Thanks again for all your support, I really appreciate it.

I was there. You fucking killed it, dude.
Best moment: “When they invent robot hookers that bitch’ll be working in a mine.”
You’re an inspiration to us all, Rogan.
2 ACL’s? What a fuckin man that is!
I have one but have never really rolled.
Joe, long time listener, first time caller, but your various other careers notwithstanding, your UFC commentary ranks among the best in sports ever. I have been watching since UFC 2 and I have learned more from you than most other mma sources, period. I was watching the last UFC with a bunch of drunken yahoos and I truly missed your commentary.
Anyway enough stroking, I look forward to your next comedy special.
Joe – My buddies and I are driving up from Cincinnati to see you.
I got pretty good fucking seats to.
so we are stoked! good luck!
I was there too, great show but too bad the fucking drunken retards and fanboys turned it into a shouting match. “I’m gonna put the two of you together and breed slaves”, hahaha. Funniest part was when the creepy fanboy was escorted out of the theatre and he yelled: “But I like him!” haha fucking loser. Come to Belgium some day, Joe.
