Besides being beautiful, the med scene is off the charts. Know of a few high profile guys who live here to live a low-key good, life without the NY-LA bullshit attached. People won't sweat you either if you're recognized, everyone is pretty much stoned and/or laid back or climbing a fucking rock. I own a dog daycare/boarding facility on the way to the airport so if you need a special place for your pet (if you got) Would be honored to work with you if you move here. Youre view on life is pretty much on the money according to me. Besides being a martial artist, comedy fan, and self proclaimed philosopher, I appreciate your apporach on life that is all about telling people who they are and putting the mirror in front of the deuche bags who operate on spiritual auto-pilot. I lived there for a year and loved it. You are 100% correct, "traffic" is a joke, light rail is expanding too. Winter is not bad, almost always sunny and not as cold as you think. I prefer smaller cities close to the mountains (I loved Portland too) and Denver is a great one. You can get to very nice areas for hiking/biking/whatever in less than an hour. Plenty of other destinations further West as well. Fun city in terms of nightlife and good restaurants. Parking is easy and cheap. I could go on and on.
