Legalize it – The JoeShow

We were doing an online reality show back in the day that we called “The JoeShow.”
Redban and I are ramping up getting ready to do a new online video project, so we thought we would release one more before we get cracking with the new shit.
Enjoy!

The full crew is headed to Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, Friday and Saturday to perform at the Tempe, Improv. It’s one of my favorite stops in the country, and the place where I recorded my 2005 Showtime special. I’ll be slinging a bunch of new shit your way getting ready for my Spike TV special to come out June 20th.
I’m really kicking my stand up into high gear these days, and I’m really looking forward to laying it down for my friends in the desert. We’re going to film a lot of short clips for the internet while we’re there, and we’re probably going to do some webcasting from the hotel room. Stay tuned to here and my twitter page for more details!

Addictive as crack – “JOESHOW” is dare I say it, better than General Hospital was in the 80’s. Fuck “Luke & Laura” and the “Cassadine Clan” when you have Diaz, Ari & Joe on the loose in a real life played out soap opera that is stand up comedy genius at its best. Anyone doubting this, please check out the classic & shitty GH youtube clips and be baffled at how that ever capitivated an entire nation!

So – happy to see new vids up and the reemergence of the freakshow that was/is known as the “JOESHOW.” Funny to see Rogan share the same views on repetitive porn I do, lol

Just finished reading “The War of Art” and like Joe tweeted the other day, is by far the best for anyone that has a problem “putting their art on the back burner” as May 2009 may go down as my best writing yet (and we’re only halfway through).

Wish I’d found out about these unscheduled, impromptu local HollyHood Improv sets earlier- would’ve gone as it’s great to see new material in it’s embryonic stages. Maybe next time…

Why do you say “it’s LIKE the technology is alive” – isn’t it obvious?

    Clearly it is?

It might be another whole 20 years before everyone knows, but with the power of shrooms (or something), you see it.

Everything that can be understood is connected – and when you look close enough to understand it there’s no line between life and non life. Me and you for that matter – no one’s tracking which electrons make the computer go. The electrons don’t matter – it’s their relationships – their collective patterns of motion.

My job is to make videogames – and basically we “fake” reality up to a point that people buy it. It really doesn’t take much. It’s smoke and mirrors – make a big explosion, swap out the undamaged car model for the fucked up one, spawn some particle effects and physics chucks that vaguely move like real pieces. Boom! “It’s so real! These graphics are fucking amazing!” And that’s just the visuals…

Look at what multiplayer quake does for human bonding. Some tcpip packets sent to an ip address on top of those fake visuals – and yet people really FEEL it.

You’re totally on to it – it’s all a thin screen.
